Tarisland's Second Closed Beta Test ended on November 30, and we would like to thank every player who participated in it. Your passion and feedback have motivated us to continue to improve the game.

We received tons of suggestions and feedback about the game during the latest playtest. Our development team has conducted an in-depth review of the game based on player feedback and relevant data collected from the playtest, and we are working on the future direction of subsequent development and adjustments. Now, we would like to share with you part of our adjustment plan.

About Gender Lock

We noticed discussions on the gender lock and suggestions to remove it in the community during the first playtest, and we received more feedback about this topic in the latest playtest, too. We, therefore, have decided to remove the gender lock for all the classes in future versions to meet player expectations and create a more pluralistic and encompassing game.

This process is going to be very exciting, but also complex and time-consuming. The development team needs time to ensure the animations and art style of characters meet our high requirement. Your kind understanding and patience would be highly appreciated. We will keep you updated on the progress and share previews with you in the future.

Armor Set Drops Related

We also received a lot of feedback on the obtaining of equipment. Currently, players obtain equipment mainly through dungeons/raids and crafting, and there will be a few adjustments on the armor set drops rules. 

In future versions, class armor sets can only be obtained through raids, and armor sets cannot be crafted. This adjustment will ensure the superiority and irreplaceability of drops in raids.

Adjustments to the Inscribed Stone System

We introduced the new Inscribed Stone system in the latest playtest, which aims to allow players to customize their characters' attributes strategically. However, our data and player feedback suggest that the flaws in the design of this system have undermined the gaming experience.

The Inscribed Stone system is supposed to be unlocked progressively as the player advances in the game. We will therefore remove the trading of Inscribed Stone Energy in future versions. Players will obtain Inscribed Stone Energy only through dairly activities. This will ensure that all players start from the same starting point and unlock each node progressively until the entire system is unlocked.

On the Obtaining Of Gold Coins

We have noticed in the latest playtest that it might be too difficult for players to obtain gold coins under the current game framework, which has made the game less enjoyable.

To solve this issue, we plan to grant gold coins to players daily through in-game systems in future versions. This hopefully will allow players to fully enjoy the game with less effort.

Furthermore, adjustments to commercialized content are still under discussion, and we will need more time to finalize the details to bring you the best gaming experience possible. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

These are just part of what we are working on currently. Other subjects that we are also working on include the difficulty level of PvE content, the challenge attempts of 5-player dungeons, the schedule of raids, the social and team-up systems, further optimization of class builds, adjustments to professions, and the introduction of more PvP-related features (e.g. PvP talents and PvP equipment).
